Improving
Children’s Reading by a Small Change
Reading
is important skill for students. Teachers and parents believe that the pictures
can attend children to read. But a study published in 2011 suggests that calling attention
to the words and letters on the page may help a child's reading.
An author of the study said that
most preschool teachers would need only a small change in the way they teach. They
could read storybook in the class. It increases children more attention to
read. Letters and words make them more recognition and spelling. So, a small
change is a good method to improve their reading.
It
is difficult for teachers or parents to improve children’s reading. If you have
a good method that children can learn and practice, children will be read well.
